Programs for Students
The Lunch Bunch program runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students will be staying just for lunch and have the option to bring their own lunch or purchase a lunch from the hot lunch program.
There will be no Extended Day this year.
The extended day program at MPB School for 3P & 4K students offers a time for lunch, nap, snack, social activities, stories, songs, art, and free choice time. The program runs from 11 am to 3 pm, Monday –Thursday.
There will be no band class available this year, but Mrs. Klemp will work with the band students here at school.
Students in grades 5 and 6 have the option to attend band class at the New London Intermediate and Middle School. An employee of MPB will drive the students to and from band class when it is their day to attend. Band lessons are scheduled once every 8 days, fifteen minutes prior to class. Students are expected to have their band books, a folder and a pencil for each class. There are three concerts throughout the school year. Students may be asked to perform a song at the Spring Concert or other school related events to showcase their talent.
Our music teacher, Mrs. Klemp, teaches piano lessons to students for a fee. Lessons are conducted during the school day in the music room weekly or biweekly. Students are expected to have their book/materials with them on their lesson days.
Mrs. Klemp holds a recital for her students and their families
once each Spring and may ask students to perform their recital piece for the Spring Concert or other school related events to showcase their talent.
The Public School District of New London has extended an invitation to the students of Most Precious Blood Parish Catholic School to participate in any public school sponsored sports. When our families accept this invitation, they are representing our school and Jesus Christ. We hope that our families/students will conduct themselves in a way that honors both.
